One month since our last update, and progress at Certus Developments' Spider Site in South Calgary has been moving along nicely. Brick cladding now covers all but the top floor of the project, which appears to be set for completion by the end of the year.
The 4-storey mixed-use commercial development will feature three floors of office space and a restaurant perched above a single storey of ground floor retail. Located at the corner of 14 St SW and 29 Ave SW in South Calgary, the Spider Site will take full advantage of the bustling 14 St SW corridor, the combo of medical offices/clinic, pharmacy, and rooftop restaurant to serve every need of the human condition.
Easily accessible by car and transit, and close to a large city park, the Spider Site will make for a popular neigbourhood destination, perfect for a quick fill - of either the prescription of lunchtime variety. Viewed in the rendering below, the inclusion of a large rooftop deck will work nicely for the attached restaurant.
Once complete, Spider Site will be a fine addition to the area, its unique mix of offerings to provide something for everyone.
