Coming soon to Bridgeland, a two-tower, 150-unit, residential project by Bucci Developments is set to rise as site clearance and ground prep has advanced steadily since the time of our last update. Introduced earlier this month, Dominion is set to become the latest addition to the 37-acre, The Bridges, master plan as laid out just north of the Bow River and Memorial Dr near the intersection of 9 St NE and McDougall Rd NE.

To be joined by several additional projects, including McPherson Place, Steps Bridgeland, and Radius, Dominion will be in good company, Phase II of The Bridges mega-project to bring several hundred units to the Bridgeland neighbourhood. Thus making good use of the former General Hospital lands, the massive redevelopment effort will work to transform a large area of the central city just north of the core.

Close to local retail and other services, and well-connected via the Bridgeland CTrain station, Dominion will be a prime address for those looking for a healthy balance of urban living and a residential character. Quick to downtown, and close to a number of large parks and the banks of the Bow River, Dominion will have a lot to offer its prospective buyers.

While still as of yet little more than a patch of dirt, the daily arrival of more and more building materials and heavy equipment on-site appears to be a promising sign that it will not be long before a large pit opens up ahead of construction. Once complete, Dominion will feature two interconnected towers, and a large, common retail podium, the latter to be capped by an impressive outdoor garden terrace.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below
