Seven months since our last update, and progress at the future site of the mixed-use Eisenberg development by NORR Architects has moved along, the row of low-rise commercial buildings that once occupied the site now completely cleared away. Located along the bustling 10 St NW commercial corridor in Hillhurst Sunnyside, boutique office/retail hybrid structure will be an excellent addition to the neighbourhood.

Renderings of the project depict a three-storey mixed-use structure, with two levels of open plan office space stacked atop a ground level storefront. Such a development appears to fit well within the Hillhurst Sunnyside Area Redevelopment Plan, and in theory should suit the neighbourhood well.

While it may yet be some time before excavation and construction get underway, it would appear that there remain no further roadblocks to redevelopment, the site clear and ready to go.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
