Over the last sixteen months, plenty of progress has been made at the site of Anthem Properties' nine-building Parkside, which is currently transforming a small corner of the Bow River's downtown waterfront. Set to bring a grand total of nine new residential structures to the area, the project is being built in stages, the final six now nearing completion.

As such, the public realm elements are now also nearly complete, including a monochrome coyote and what is known as the Moongate. Viewed above and below, the dynamic duo have been recently spotted on our Forum, their debut garnering a good deal of interest in the project's progress to date.

Seen in detail above, the reverse side of the Moongate shows a nighttime scene, while the other side (further above) depicts daytime. For its part, the coyote may very well steal the show, its sleek profile and overall cuteness hard to ignore.

An impressive development in its own right, Parkside will soon deliver several hundred new residents to the core, the downtown waterfront today a bustling destination for people of all ages. Adjacent to the popular Eau Claire Market and District, Parkside will be a welcome addition to the downtown streetscape.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
