The long-awaited Point Tower by Ramsay Worden Architects has been born anew as 11th on 11th, the name change celebrated with a release of additional renderings and an increase from 43 to 44 storeys. Referencing the project's address at 11th St SW and 11th Ave SW, the name change has a practical application in addition to being simple and to the point.

Located within the quickly evolving Beltline district, 11th on 11th will place residents within easy walking distance of both the the shops and services of 17 Ave SW and the West Kerby CTrain Station.

At ground level, the podium base will be home to a mix of retail and lobby space, the addition of a rooftop terrace and green roof to add to the structure's sustainable footprint.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
