Where have you traveled?

How was Antarctica? One place I'm not sure I'll ever go, think I've seen enough snow and ice in my life lol. Could always see more penguins though :D
 
Jesus how do all of you afford to travel so extensively? Or is it business related.
For me a fair bit of it work related. About half of the US and Canada is work related, and all of the middle east travel work related. Also I'm old! My first trip outside of Canada was a backpacking trip around Europe right after high school....that was back in 1987.
 
So many well traveled individuals. @DougB seems to have traveled to the most places.

Favorite places: Vietnam, Singapore, Portugal. I like almost all places really, there are very few places i haven't liked.
Least Favorite: India. I wasn't there for long, only to New Delhi for a three day excursion, but that was enough for me lol. I might try some other parts of India for longer to get a better feel.

I think there's some correlation between being well travelled and being interested in things like this forum. But maybe not.
I would agree. Also I find that often the most well traveled are people who take an interest in their hometown.
In theory you would expect that people traveling to exotic places would be itching to leave Calgary, but for me it’s had the opposite effect.
Many of the places I’ve been are cool places to visit, but I appreciate living here and would rather take the pros from other places and implement them here.
