I can’t believe this. A second funnel cloud formed over the city. I’ve only lived in this apartment for less than a week and I just recorded the formation of two funnel clouds within 45 minutes of each other.

I have hundreds of photos to sift through so please stand by…

Didn't realize the street was gone until I looked all the way down... Hopefully the drain across the street in the opposite building will help!

Reminds me of when the dry pond in Penbrooke Meadows filled up when I was a kid....and there go the sirens...

The parking garage and main floor of my building were flooded. Seems like it happened a lot, there were sirens blasting all around the core.

I drove into Calgary from Canmore following that storm. Didn't see any of the funnels (EC said they weren't true funnel clouds apparently), but I saw some pretty intense lightning! Glad for the cooler, wetter temps, but I kinda miss the heat now!

Just wait, this will likely get much worse. The satellite pictures of western North America are pretty scary.

The summer of smoke begins...

... and we are going to be hovering around 30 degrees for at least another week. Not a good combination for the elderly or anyone with respiratory ailments.

They were in an article I read, can't remember which one. If you google it you should be able to find some from this year.

May 14th, just before the freezing weather and snow hit.

June 16th. Thankfully the tomatoes survi ved the May cold snap.

July 18th tomato plants have taken over. I call it the Tomato Forest.
