Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

The corner is filled in with a white mesh. This design will look either tired or dated or both faster than the 1980s design it's replacing. I wish they attempted to preserve more of the original than a full refresh to a trendy black mullion pattern. There's so many older office towers up for sale with each one advertising the conversion potential and, the 1980s, is dated.

cant say how ill feel about it in 2045 but right now its a no brainer. great vs sad is how my eye interprets this.

self storage facility! Located across MacLeod Tr from Trico's new development.

To give a good idea of exactly where it will be, here it is:

Okay, that's where I thought it was. That's fine there, wasn't exactly begging for an apartment. At least Trico's development has a park nearby and is adjacent to other residential. I don't think this section of Macleod is where change needs to happen, it is too new in the sense that the strip malls have been reinforced. The section I think that has a chance is north of 50 Ave up to 34 Ave, this section is too tight to be a freeway like the the rest of Macleod which is what it is, a freeway.

Would be a shame if it was a sprawling campus of garages. It's a five storey building. Having it close to transit is a convenience for those that don't own cars. Transit simply as a means to commute from a future residential development here to downtown is underutilization of all the possibilities rail can do.

I've moved several times entirely by transit as a poor student.
