Just to the NE of this plaza on Frobisher Dr (runs parallel to Heritage) there's another DP submission for an increase maximum building height (18 meters to 26 meters) and an increase in maximum building floor. Currently there's some low rise apartments that are looking very dated on that land. I wonder what the ultimate plan is.

Yes I'm interested in this one as well. That developments would be a big improvement for that spot.

I would think that would be identified during the process for the one to the west of Macleod. If the city is thinking of doing anything relatively recently they should let them know, shouldn't they? Otherwise that development could have its first couple floors looking into a retaining wall...

After reading all the posts I still can't see any info on when or if this heritage plaza development is going to proceed, I know there was community consultation back in mid 2023 and in mid 2024 the city approved a zoning change from commercial to mixed to allow for residential, but no where can I find anything more about the timing. Anyone have any knowledge about that or know where I could find out?
