Has this one been posted yet? Looks pretty good if the brown is brick, this could turn our really sharp.

While this proposal is not a dramatically large development, for many it might be an important one to watch for the cultural impact. The land use change for the building the Ship and Anchor is in goes to CPC this week:

- 532 17 AV SW
- 534 17 AV SW (The Ship and Anchor)
Trying to read the tea-leaves here for what the expected impact will be to Calgary's most famous pub. Seems like a fairly substantial project, but curious attempt to retain the existing office building where the Ship is. Perhaps that's a sign they want to keep it operating in the same location? Not sure how that would work in practice, but otherwise I don't really get why you'd preserve the existing building that's fairly obsolete.

Anyone have any theories or behind-the-scenes on this one?
I hope this is one of those cases where the developer knows the real value in their property and does whatever needs to be done to keep the gold mine that is the Ship operating.
yeah, it's the south view from 17th ave"View from 12 Ave SW" confuses me. Is that a typo?

Interesting place to add on to what is already happening right around there. I would like it more if it wasn't a cul-de-sac but that also adds some uniqueness to it.Has this one been posted yet? Looks pretty good if the brown is brick, this could turn our really sharp.

The back of this has almost all of its new windows. I get Noble Pie too often, you wouldn't like it, so see the progress.Another office to residential conversion in the Beltline on 11th ave. I seem to run across a new office conversion every couple of weeks. We’re prob running close to all time boom peaks for u/c residential units in the city centre with the amount of conversions plus new construction and more towers likely starting soon.

Also, this nearby conversion on 12th ave is well underway.
