Very realistic renderings. A car is driving in the bike lane.
Anytime something is car-oriented and pedestrians and cyclists will have limited space, just sell it by calling it a woonerf in Alberta. So effective.Very realistic renderings. A car is driving in the bike lane.
Already submitted my objections. Encourage everyone to do the same. I am honestly baffled as to how a design like this gets proposed in 2022. Did CMLC hand the job to some crusty old road engineer a few months away from retirement who just copied and pasted an old design?Thankfully, this DP still shows as 'under review' which means public comments may be considered. Here's the email address to the file manager: Joshua.deJong@calgary.ca
The rendering may be out of date, but the designs still clearly show that the northbound bike lane is sandwiched between a parking lane and a driving lane.
That’s pretty standard on bike lanes around the cityThe rendering may be out of date, but the designs still clearly show that the northbound bike lane is sandwiched between a parking lane and a driving lane.
Haha exactly. In Toronto, the Skydome will always be the Skydome for most Ontarians.I'm guessing if they did GMC Grandstand everyone would keep calling it the grandstand. But, but calling it GMC Stadium, everyone will keep calling it the grandstand.

This is the best. I'm think that you'll be able to see it in the typical Flames games aerial angles too which is a plus.Yes it’s well underway…
