Office Space Conversion

My goodness the media is bad at tracking things like this. You'd think in a housing crisis there would be some decent emphasis on development but in my opinion we're easily the best source of what is actually happening in housing development.
Sometimes I think the media gets some of their info from our site, or at least get the stories, and then they follow up.

The fact there are conversions going ahead outside of the subsidy I don't believe has been covered. Off topic for this page but there has also been next to zero coverage of the fact there are large proposals around Heritage Station and there's money going into making Anderson feasible for residential development. To me, those are stories. So much of the larger housing discourse is about the blanket zoning and NIMBY's against things like Glenmore Landing, that is only touching a small part of the larger picture.

You really would think so. It seems like such an obvious thing to track given that Calgary seems to be somewhat of a leader in North America in terms of this program. Instead, I find myself having to come to this forum to get news on conversions half the time, and when we do get an official article it feels like they are released at best every 6 months or so. Said articles often lack detail on which projects are actually underway, such as the one I originally shared.
