Good god is that the stucco colour? Lol. This is why we need Form and Character Guidelines for a proper DP submission. Then the Development Authority can at least point to some architectural and urban design guidelines so that this shit is unacceptable. This is 100% multi-gen family housing, there is a reason that Surrey had specific guidelines for this to deter absolute trash like this.Snapped this photo of a new infill on 20th NW. Not sure I'd make those design choices but to each their own.View attachment 493263
Kinda reminds me of some the larger single family houses in Asia. Definitely looks a little out of place here though.Snapped this photo of a new infill on 20th NW. Not sure I'd make those design choices but to each their own.View attachment 493263
LOL - this is fantastically horrible. The stucco colours, the windows, the brick, the rooflines...it's incredible!Snapped this photo of a new infill on 20th NW. Not sure I'd make those design choices but to each their own.View attachment 493263
That is just awful! I don’t have anything positive to say about it at all!Snapped this photo of a new infill on 20th NW. Not sure I'd make those design choices but to each their own.View attachment 493263
Is that a single family home? If so, that needs to be front and centre in any conversation about base rezoning in Calgary... 'You can have a tastefully designed 3 story walk up apartment building next to you or you can have this giant green R1 monstrosity. What worries you more?'
Permission to post this bad boy on social media so more people can get sick looking at it?Snapped this photo of a new infill on 20th NW. Not sure I'd make those design choices but to each their own.View attachment 493263
