I just spent a month in Europe and nowhere I went had anything remotely close to our river pathway system, we're very lucky to have it. I thought I would come home feeling sad about returning to Calgary, but it honestly made me appreciate our city even more. It may not be perfect but we live in a pretty great place.

This is my experience too. I've always liked the places I've visited, but the more places I visit, the more I like where I am. Not that the other places don't their virtues, but the more places I visit, the more I pay attention to the pros and cons.
