Could be. I've seen soil sampling done at sites in between a land use and DP, and then again after the DP.
I work near that McDonalds, seems like they renovated to change the interior layout and make it more open. I have suspicions it was also to deter homeless people from camping out in there. The old layout had most of the seating around a corner from the main counter so staff couldn't see what patrons might have been up to.There's a land use change proposed. Maybe a concurrent DP was submitted too, just not on dmap. The McDonald's just did a renovation, not sure what changed but it was a pretty new location so maybe it was changing the footprint in anticipation of something being developed.
Does the C-Train bring a lot of homeless people into the area? Living in Marda Loop, we're close to downtown but have zero homeless people, I think that's because of the lack of a train and requirement to bus here.I work near that McDonalds, seems like they renovated to change the interior layout and make it more open. Train and that area has a lot of open space and McDonalds generally draw those people to it. There's just no reason for them to congregate in residential areas, I think most prefer to be left alone. For where I live, there's the occasional garage break in or vandalism, but you don't see them congregating during the day in a visible way.Does the C-Train bring a lot of homeless people into the area?
