Every speaker gets 5 minutes. People will likely be grouped into panels of 5 or 6. I have heard they are over 330 registered speakers. So, if you sign up now, you might be called upon at 7:30 on Friday at this rate.....

You get 5 minutes, but you could only take 1 second if you want. If you sign up now it will probably be next week! You can sign up at any point until the last speakers are finished. Oh, you can also call in over the phone.

Looks like the parkade across the street from downtown Superstore will soon be no more. I could not find anything in regards to what’s planned for this site. Does anyone happen to know anything?
Sadly, nothing but surface parking.

I'm still surprised Bow Valley College hasn't expanded since that new building was completed over a decade ago. I thought by now they would have constructed another new building. This might be a good spot for an addition to their campus.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're facing some financial strain with the new limits on foreign students. That made up a huge percentage of their student body

They never got close to capacity in their expansion, even with many international student. The expansion was overbuilt to their needs.
I know someone whose job was affected by cuts to programming after this happened. BVC are not expanding any time soon, in fact the opposite.

I was hopeful BVC would take over the old CBE building - sounds like there is no hope of that.
