I wonder if they'll put it back up or if the building is coming down, last week the wrap had a massive tear in the middle of it so maybe it's being replaced

I'm hoping its being renovated or converted rather than torn down. I'll see if I can find some Intel tomorrow.

So, sadly the building is being demolished and no plans are in place for anything to replace it

I kinda like the existing building, would have loved to see a residential conversion happen on it.
The silver lining in the cloud is that it's in a prime location that's getting a streetscape upgrade. It'll only be a matter of time before something gets built in it's place, and will increase the 8th street momentum.

This is exactly what we thought would happen when the office tower on the Vesta Broadway site was being demolished.

Agreed. 8th street is already a legit corridor, and already is arguably the the best Beltline-DT connector. With the upcoming upgrades to 8th, and a grocery store along the route, that lot will be a desirable place for a residential build.

Two grocery stores on the route even! (Save-On and Safeway)
