re: North Hill mall and its weirdness, it's kind of amazing that's it's still a functioning mall being that it's almost 70 years old (1958)
There's been many renovations, it started as an open-air mall. But it is crazy to think while almost all the competitor malls at the time has been expanded or redeveloped, North Hill has really been stuck in time, it wouldn't look out of place in the 80s setting of Stranger Things.

The next phase of Marda Loop Main Streets construction begins today. 34 Ave will be closed between 19 - 21 St and 20 St will be closed between 33 - 35 Ave for the next 10 weeks. They are also removing the curb extension on 34 Ave that was just put in.

Going to be a shit show but from what I can see 33 Ave is not affected so hopefully that will help. And they are making 18 and 19 St South of 34 Ave 2-way again so at least we won't have to complain about numerous drivers going the wrong way on the 1-way streets for a while.

Was down there this weekend and although it is a mess short term, boy are these public realm changes a major improvement. Happy to see it when its all done and want to see more of this

They featured the old Sears in The Order.

Have they announced the next set to get construction? Currently Bridgeland and Marda Loop are in progress but both should finish this year.
