I would sum up Canada’s success to two things. Maturity, and coaching.

Will any of this team be competing in the Olympics? Did the men even qualify for the Olympics?

It's the U20 team from 2022 that was in the CONCACAF qualifiers. Canada was out on penalties to Guatemala in the first knockout round. The DR and the US are the CONCACAF teams on the men's side.

Some of my favourite memories are of watching the women in the Olympics, it's a short tournament so if they catch lightning in a bottle they could go on a run.

The women's team has a cloud over them currently, hopefully drone-gate here doesn't distract the players too much.
