Random silly question for a noob like me :
Where does all the dirt they excavate normally go to?
It's a fair bit, so I was kinda curious. Do they have a special dumping area or just bring it where it's needed elsewhere? Or?
 
It's not a silly question and it's one that's not easily answered. It should be going to a treatment facility given that this was a parking lot for decades. It's an unregulated industry so it's not really known and buyers are definitely not shared. There could be a lot of contaminated soil sold and dumped as is.
