It's most likely a mistake.

The crowns are solid, and their purpose is believed to be to absorb what's left of our souls after the podium shocks them loose.

The ventilation is aluminum on the west, and half aluminum half spandrel on the east, cause someone hit their head.

Guessing the plan was to make the crown look so terrible for so long that we'd be psyched for it to just be solid spandrel.

driving past the nearly finished podium tonight i feel like there will be some “its not as horrible as i thought it would be” bounce for wvt. the same thing may go for the crown once they go back and clean up their unfinished business. basically i dont think people opinions, or at least mine could be any lower than it has been for the last year.
