Village Block | 27m | 6s | Liberty Housing | Metafor

How affordable is it really? Edit; just looked at the website, they are going for about $740 / month or a 1 bed and $800 for a 2 bed. I'm sure the units are tiny, but that's about half what one would pay downtown, so not bad!

Wish the brick was closer to the render, but all in all, great looking project!

That's awesome. Acknowledging they are pretty small units, it's still a brand new unit, it's in a good location on reasonable transit, and with great cycling access - at that price is only about 30% of a full-time, minimum wage worker. That's a great outcome.

Given the quality and execution, would be interested to have a deep-dive into the data, funding model and choices along the way that produced this outcome. There's always complexities that aren't visible, but would be neat to hear the internal mechanisms that produced this result and the degree in which we can copy-paste this development elsewhere.
