IMO this one is so-so. Not bad, but not great. Somehow from the rendering I thought it would look better.

It's Kirkor. We know them well in Toronto. Expect utter mediocrity from them.

Are the black panels aluminium? It looks way better than regular painted glass.

They are aluminum panels. I noticed one day that they had polished off a couple of them and they look pretty sharp after they had been cleaned. I'm curious to see what the whole building looks like after they've all been shined up.

I think only the bottom several floors of the tower portion are done in the aluminum. The rest is awful black spandrel glass with grey mullions. If you look closer at the images, you'll see.

Hmmmm I don't think it looks like the rendering. On a positive note, that section of 10th ave will look much nicer when this and Mark next door are finished. I like how the two developments give a continuous street streetscape.
