This is great to see. I'm hoping the UofC puts forward a mixed use plan for the research park lands, there is so much awkward land use in that area that will need to be reformed.
Too much surface parking for starters and there are still massive empty lots sitting right next to the LRT. Maybe it's time to abandon employment-only land use here.

Looks like they're hoping to release a master plan later this year! I'm really curious to see what they come up with! They nailed U/D so hopefully they'll be able to come up with something world class

Thre ground breaking ceremony was on June 27, and it looks like the initial work was for utilities, which only finished up around November. I wouldn't be surprised to see it start up this spring.

The city’s website says completion in 2024.

On the city's website, they are saying 2024 for the fire hall and accessory services. I’m not sure if that includes the residential part or not, hopefully it does.
No equipment on site, but there has been some progress! They’ve added some more beige gravel, and there are fresh tire tracks in and out of the site.
