Anyone know if that is the existing Union Square parkade that they are excavating against? Does this parkade extend under the park and playground?

I know. That said, half the street was demolished for the new buildings that are there now. Does anyone know what was there before the Therode building that now houses Starbucks, Any Time Fitness etc?
