Well there aren’t too many cities Calgary’s size that have LRT access to most neighborhoods. So buses and BRT will have to suffice
I think the point is more that these large, dense development projects are happening in places that will never be served by LRT, when there is TOD potential at several spots in the existing network..

Some developments like Springbank Hill and West District are kind of close to the west LRT, but may never actually be served directly by it.

Others, like UD and Currie, aren't that close to the LRT, but might, one day, decades years from now, have a streetcar or something that connects them to the LRT.

Trinity Hills is an example of a development that will probably never have or be near rail transit.

Trinity, West District, University District... everything is in a car dependent area but should be within 1km of the LRT. University district is about 2km walking distance, but most people won't want to walk that far.

It's BRT/Max that will be needed to make our transit system great. Being a Max rider now, I think it has potential to be able to fulfill that. Just need to get going on the PTN. That seems to have completely disappeared from the front of mind of the City and CT. I assume the issue is funding.

Trinity Hills Block D: Casa Ridge plopped a small shipping container on site. From their website (https://casaridge.com/piita) this project is now called Piita (Blackfoot word for eagle). Render from the website is included below.

The Podium at Aiss'ka'pooma: Cladding has been installed on all buildings except for one. Construction fencing has been removed from most of the perimeter and they are now working on landscaping.

The Village Townhomes Wolf Run: Walls going up on townhomes at west end of the site. Unfortunately, there's more as they poured foundations for two more blocks of townhomes in the middle and east end of the site.
