Appears so, they were making a lot of noise today, looks like they might be clearing out the site? I hope this doesn't mean it's going to sit for another 4 years.....

Someone said that they weren't going to do any excavation on this, so maybe they only need the little backhoe? Given it's ASI involved I'm a bit worried it's come to a halt.

I feel that "Danger: Open Excavation" sign is a bit misleading.....

For F sake. Tear down the coffee shop and cheap housing stock apartment block, so we can have another empty lot. So far ASI's plan to upgrade 17th ave isn't looking too good.

The worst kind of developer and development. Literally a community destroyer rather than a community builder. If we end up with a new parking lot on a prominent corner of 17th Ave & a new pit along 4th Street it'll be like time travel to the mid-2000s

Actually kind of. Ron Poon was one of the partners at NORR, and now he works for ASI. NORR did (and still does I believe) most of Torode's projects...

if they arent developing it it would be a good place for a food truck park, though that propably wouldnt go down well with the exsisting restautants.
17th is becoming downright bleak and rightfully so with the multiple gut punches over the last few years. would be a good time for a deep playoff run.
