Are people finally moving into this building now? A brief google search leaves me a bit unsure of whether it has actually been completed. The pre-leasing and tour options available on the website were there back in early 2024 when construction was still underway.

I know this thread has largely focused on the design features of the building, but honestly, I'm just happy that the project is (nearly?) finished. Every time more density is added to the downtown, it will only continue to build momentum in terms of economic activity and general livability.

Yes, there are several listings for renting units of the buildings online right now.

2 bedrooms going for between 2.1K and 2.6K. A bit pricy considering the building and this area of downtown but you judge.

I prefer the new podium. I’m not a fan of podiums with overhangs.

I don't like colonades either. I like that the original design doesn't have a podium. Podiums to me are reminders of master planned development without character and spaces for urban exploration.

This isn't one of those podiums. The architectural design that has minimal connection with the tower above is representative of one of those podiums

People have definitely moved in. Saw a guy bbqing on the patio yesterday.
I guess this marks the completion of the first downtown office-to-rental conversion in Calgary. I will be eagerly tracking the other building conversions as they are completed over the coming months and years :)

I think this is the second downtown (6th St & 7th Ave SW) and the third including the Beltline one on 11th and 11th.
