Pretty typical of Concord. Dig a hole as soon as possible and then wait many months for permits or whatever to begin construction. I wouldn't bet anything on the starting price either. This is a large piece of property with not too many units. I'd just keep my fingers crossed. Concord goes full board on design but, usual cheaps on the finishes.

With a starting price at like 1.4 million I'm sure it will be very high quality materials. I went by today and snapped a picture, the pit is completely leveled out but there's no sign of a crane base which is weird.

The pit is still empty, but activity is close. The GC is from Vancouver and they are lining up local contractors, expect to see activity in about 3 weeks.

That's really great news. I was worried that this one got put on hold!

I was worried about that too. It's one thing to have a construction pit on hold somewhere like 10th ave, but it's another when it's right on the river pathway.

The crane base has being installed !
