I wish we had more of that in these 6 storey builds.

I am seeing more of this. There's a project in Marda Loop, Plaza 34, that does this and I think it will do wonders for making a whole block project in a neighbourhood feel more integrated into the community and nearby Leonard projects. I would've liked to see Sentinel on 17th and 14th broken up like this. Even if it wasn't some show piece at least it could not be so mono-whatever. Some locations can handle a full block building with a single design a lot cannot.

The white part facing the street looks great, agree with the post above about how it breaks it up nicely. The white part facing the back on the other hand...

I'm holding out hope that they will do whatever the did to 1905 College cause that had the same concern initially and then they fixed so fingers crossed this isn't the final stage.

Yeah looks like that from the IFC. Near part of the South elevation will be the black corrugated metal, rest of the south elevation will be the Smooth Cementitious panel - White.

These sides look great I think. North Elevation reminds me of a hospital for some reason.

If any elevation is gonna be value engineered to shit, I'd rather it be the one that's at the lot line and will possibly get covered up in the future anyway.
