I dunno but whatever they're implementing into the bike lanes in those sections is such a mess and is going to lead to a lot of chaos between pedestrians and cyclists.

I walk by this every day and I scratch my head when I see it. There aren't many cyclists or pedestrians in November, so I haven't seen how people interact with it, but when the weather warms up we'll see if there are any collisions or chaos.

The 5th Street and 15th Avenue intersection version of this is mostly complete and is pretty wild. I really don't get why they couldn't keep the cycling facility at street level instead of raising it up to a weird, tiny mixing zone. 5th and 12th Avenue SW have had the level crossing for a decade with few real issues, why reinvent the wheel here?
