I didn't find the tone any worse than usual. The city bashing was unnecessary. Is that what you guys mean?

Wow the writing is shit on the Telus Sky site. Riddled with spelling errors and non-sense language.

"The upper levels at TELUS Sky (29–56) will be rental, meaning people who live in TELUS Sky will keep the building active vibrant 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. This is how mixed-use live / work projects can help reorient cities, drawing people, businesses, ideas and life inward, from the suburbs to the downown core."

Keep the downown ACTIVE VIBRANT

They kinda make it sound like they are coming in and rescuing the downtown. Their building is a definite plus to downtown, but won't initiate noticeable change. If the building becomes an example for more mixed use projects, then yes, it cold take credit for noticeable improvement, but that's a little ways down the road yet.

It looks like a change in direction reading between the lines and marketing fluff. These will be longer term rentals instead of executive suites.

My understanding is that they were always going to be rentals except the two two floors which were for executive use. I'll ask the question in my next meeting with them.
