First time that I have had the opportunity to look down on the Calgary Tower and Suncor buildings. Working on floors 59/60 for a few days this week. Thankfully all my work is inside and warm.

Climbed up 31 storeys just to get this shot... and it's nowhere near as high rez as I wanted it to be!

I was thinking the same, that's also got to be the least flattering angle of downtown still possible to shoot, so many parking lots/ small old buildings that are just dwarfed now. A bit more density back there would go a long way.

Compare that angle to 10 - 15 years ago, it's come a very long way.

Same goes for the skyline angle when looking from Scottsman‘s Hill. Used to be arguably my least favourite skyline angle now it’s one of the better ones.

that said I would love to see a few more buildings around the east beltline even smaller buildings would be nice. anything to fill up the parking lots

I think if that larger Elbow river's edge project goes ahead it would make a considerable difference. Then fill the parking lots with some mid range and it would look real nice.
