i just assumed they were building both towers at the same time but now im thinking this is only one and the second has to start from scratch with excavation. anyone know which it is?
I believe it is both towers. The DP is not on DMAP anymore, but when it was the parcel was showing only what is u/c at the moment, and the parcel to the east was not shown as part of the applied permit which had two towers in the application.

FWIW, the second tower's excavation is part of their phase 2 as their current site office (the old motorsports shop immediately west of the current construction) would be torn down for this second phase.

You're right, I found a rendering of the first phase. Looks like that second tower might stay an empty lot for a while.

Crazy to not combine the parkades, would cost much less money. They must not have much faith in the market or something.
Oh that's a bummer, so back to only one tower for now, and because it's not shared parking/podium it could be a while before it gets going.

Didn't Oliver end up doing the same thing? Where they only decided to build the parkade for the second tower a few years after the first one got started.
