I'm definitely getting "prison" vibes from all the black bars and gates on this one.

Even more so after seeing the courtyard. It has a bit of that prison look to it, but overall I like the fact they incorporated a courtyard. It's something we don't much of in Canada.

Interior view of the courtyard. It looks much better in real life than it does in the photos. Photos taken in the morning, around 10 AM so the sun hasn’t hit the courtyard yet.

Steps fully completed. Overall looks pretty good from the street.

Turned out pretty decent. The brick feels heavier at the sidewalk than I expected, and I really dislike the downspouts on the one side too.

I still loved the original design, but this is a good solid addition to Bridgeland. Calgary would benefit from having a few more of these around the city.

If they replaced the fences with glass panels it would look so much more luxurious and less prison like
