Less than a year ago, it was an abandoned eye sore, looks like great progress to me! Different eyes see different things.

What a great update Surreal. The brickwork looks fantastic. If there's one thing that is bugging me it's the column diameter at the corner units. I'm wondering if they could have been a little more slender, given that it appears they have moved to steel structure above it.

Good catch @Beazley66 I never noticed those cement columns before. They are kinda cumbersome. Aside from that, the project as a whole is turning out very well.

Upper material installations underway. The colour looks good IMO. It’s hardy board, so not sure how it’ll look in 3 years, but otherwise a good colour combo.

Gross that looks bad. That really drops this project down a couple notches. The brick is excellent and they go and ruin the look with those cheap panels.

I don't think it looks that bad, will have to see it in person to really judge...
I think the colors are okay. What is neutral and can go with charcoal brick, and the red is a decent enough accent to the brick as well. My concern would be how the panels look in a few years, after seeing what has happened with those types of panels at other sites. In some cases they've faded severely - I don't know if it's related to the brand, or the material in general.

I would have gone with white acrylic stucco in this case.

I think that looks pretty good, Hardie is fine as long as it's not ruined by the trim or fasteners!
