Who buys those towels? I imagine them smelling like weed and having stains.
I think it'll be tallest in Alberta, and "one of the tallest" in Western Canada.
Now that the height has been released, it's confirmed that it will be taller than any building either completed or under construction. The only proposal I am aware of that would be taller is the supertall proposed for Vancouver, but I have doubts that project will happen anytime soon, if ever, considering the state of their condo market.
YABBA DABBA DOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!For us nostalgia types....In front of the hotel, I'd like to see a bronze statue of that guy playing the saxophone.
If you have some altitude to high rise building just move to Whitehorse or Saskatoon manWho buys those towels? I imagine them smelling like weed and having stains.
L - R translation issue here to Japanese I think? He means towels as in something you use to wipe yourself off after a bath, not towers as in a tall building. If you have some altitude to high rise building just move to Whitehorse or Saskatoon man

There's https://dmap.calgary.ca/?p=DP2025-04119 but it's not visible to us mere mortals yet.Did the actual DP get submitted for this yet ?
No. Expect about 6 months for development permit approval. Are these two buildings 100% a go?
You might also have to factor in appeals timelines. They are asking for a reduction to building separation distance and I can see Vetro and Sasso east facing owners being somewhat successful in pushing back on that. It appears as though the proposed facades are a zero setback which is fine, but even twin residential towers follow the minimum separation distances for light and privacy concerns, as well as general livability. If you look at Vancouver and even proposed towers here, many will offset with adjacent buildings to allay these concerns and provide better overall living conditions for everyone. Are these two buildings 100% a go?
Also when can we expect them to be completed?
2029 for W (the taller one) and 2030 for JW.Also when can we expect them to be completed?
This link works for me now. No downloadable plans yet, though. There's https://dmap.calgary.ca/?p=DP2025-04119 but it's not visible to us mere mortals yet.
Given the focus of development in the area, I think for this one, we will not end up fumbling this. We shall see though, I certainly would be quite disappointed if it fell through or is changed much for the worse.2029 for W (the taller one) and 2030 for JW.
As someone said earlier - we better not fumble this ….
