The problem with 1st Street is well documented too - it doesn't feel that way to drivers or politicians.

"Putting a bike lane on MacLeod Trail" is seen as one of the most out-of-touch things someone can do, despite this 10 block stretch having the excess capacity for vehicles, high demand for bikes, and having nothing in common to the suburban car sewer that is in everyone's collective memory of "MacLeod Trail".

That's enough to kill it - anti-bike south Calgary suburban Councilors can always find a way to rally against it.

An unfortunate downside of having the large unicity model that Calgary has.

I'm only going by rumors, all of which vary, but one thing consistent in the rumors is that it's tall.

It's the Stampede Station site and I've heard it's going to be very tall! and there may be more than one...

Let the guessing begin! I’m going with 55 storeys.
