Calgary Housing Company is in the early stages of a mixed income housing project in Forest Lawn, near the Max Purple BRT. Still early stages, but this project has been trying to get off the ground for years, looks like they are finally getting close. Some detailed renderings, despite no DP yet:

It's true, a quick look at the map shows how little activity there has been on that side of the city.
