Another new Truman DP for University District, apparently being called "2418" for now. This is for the site immediately east of the building with the Cineplex. Architect is Casola Koppe. Gets the big things right IMO - CRU's lining the entire University Ave frontage, decent massing and high quality materials with mostly brick. It seems like developers in UD are incapable of producing crap (and that's a good thing!).

There's a massive ditch on the east end of that site, wonder if there are any utilities or anything there. Seems quite odd.

Back in my NYC days, I sometimes went to a dive bar called "The Thirsty Scholar". Thought that was one of the better bar names out there (along with another NY venue "The Bitter End").

So much in that render... What I think is CGI empty field, in summer. A seacan in another field, in winter. The Olympic Oval, University residences, Foothills Hospital, McMahon Stadium, The Hub (Forum Favourite) and downtown, in winter.
