Lol, I love the marketing on their site. The renderings showing the area surrounding it are misleading, and I got a good chuckle out of some of the marketing on the website. The neighborhood section shows mostly pictures of downtown, as if downtown has so much in common with a neighborhood next to the ring road

I like it, but yeah it certainly isn’t anywhere remotely near something that could be considered especially urban.

That part of the render is kind of strange. From the times I've been in that area, I don't remember the hill having anywhere near that steep of a grade.

I honestly can't figure out where exactly on the parcel this is located. I live in the area and I can't quite picture how this will fit around the government site

I am not sure if this one is getting a redesign, or maybe the image on the first post is still current. The marketing website now contais the notes "Added Value Improvement and Building Redesign" and "Sales Centre is Temporarily Closed for Redevelopment Plans". It sure is. They were aiming at the luxury condo market when this first came on stream. Obviously, they did not get the pre-sales they were looking for.

It's always funny to me when buildings want to be square but roads want to be curvy and no one blinks. Everyone involves just shrugs, and fills in the gaps with random amounts of green space and moves on to the next development. To be fair there's a big grade there it will be nicer to look at lawns and trees instead of the curvy road that caused this issue in the first place, but ultimately it's an entirely unusable space that comes with permanent maintenance cost.

It's as if land has no value and future operating obligations are meaningless in informing design. Green buffers everywhere.

Glad a fire truck can turn around at the "main entrance in that oversized cul-de-sac though!

I just wish it connected to Nose Hill drive or Silver Valley road! It would shave an entire 30 seconds off of my commute through Bowness!
