Really too bad there's no mechanism to close the NB Sarcee Road to EB 33 Ave channelized slip lane here and move everything closer to the curb, while applying a more "main street" design with retail and sidewalk integration.
It's going to haunt us forever that we decided to have this bizarre of this section of 33rd being designed like a 1960s arterial, bookended by normal size and speed main street style sections. Doesn't make sense, never made sense but we are stuck with the design because there's no mechanism and incentive to fix it.
Otherwise a great project and great location for density!
