Lamb's second development for Calgary. Seems a ways off yet, but still on Lamb's radar, as per his tweet yesterday.

I find the design quite bland.....looks as if the design was simply mailed in.

yeah, @Daveography was talking about this in Lamb's Edmonton projects, it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I doubt Orchard will go ahead. I hope I'm wrong, but the Calgary market isn't great right now.

I suspect the ones that haven't started yet will be put on hold. I would be surprised to see Orchard break ground any-time soon, but who knows....maybe they have a fair amount of out of town investors?

Since we've been talking about Orchard lately, might aw well reactivate the thread to the first page. I'm hoping they build the orchard itself and the amenities centre along with the first tower, as I don't believe both will go up at the same time. Just messaged Lamb Developments to get an idea of where sales are at. No response just yet.

Here's a newer render...

If the economy hadn't taken a dive, it probably would have been built, but it's an uphill battle right now. For this and any new condo project.

This isn't new though, this started sales months and months, even maybe a year, before the recession happened.

That would put the sales period at over 2 years. That is not good at all.

I've been getting more curious with each project announcement about what the 2107 municipal census is going to look like.
