Are you Spider-Man Surreal or do you just have access to the high floors of every building in town?
One thing that's nice about hotels, is that anyone can walk in and head up to one of the higher floors and there are usually windows at the end of a hallway

Great photo updates! One thing that I noticed is that it appears there is no ramp on the eastern side of the library. Did I miss it or is there an elevator on that side to bring people up to the entrance? Just curious on how people with mobility issues and parents with strollers are supposed to access the library from the east village side?

I guess the so called ban has some cracks lol. Is it me, or does it look darker than expected? I'm not sure what time of day the photo was taken, but definitely looks very dark.

It’s dark because they cheaped out on the amount of glass on the facade. A great building, but they will miss the “iconic” mark due to removing some of the exterior features that were shown in the original renderings.

The building isn’t oriented to be light gathering. In general we need to get used to light treatments in sustainable building - having bright sunlit spaces is expensive on the operations side.

Yep, I remember they had mentioned that wouldn't have enough room to install a ramp that will incline all the way to the entrance so the solution was a 24-hour elevator accessible from the outdoors.

Hopefully this 24h elevator doesn't become a place to do drugs...
I'm sure there will be more lights in there, and once they have the finishes on the inside (assuming they are white or another very light colour) the building should be much brighter.
