The lot was acquired as part of a larger assembly, expect to see a land use application on this (and several other parcels) soon I think.

I had a feeling this was the case, those other residential building on the block are looking rough and ready for demo

Kind of sad that Certus’ proposal won’t see the light of day. I really liked their proposal.
