I don't think I realized just how close this build is to the Imperia. Maybe by having so many starts at the same time Truman is able to make more efficient use of equipment and resources given that the projects are kicking off around the same time? The Gallery isn't far off either.

I was thinking that too. I wonder if they got some kind of "volume discount" from some of their contractors with these 3 towers starting up nearly all at once.

It’s actually pretty smart the way they’ve done it. Guys do the shoring on one, then move to next one and so on. Then dig the pit on first, then move onto second and so on. Gotta be a cost savings on that

Really if use the term 'Core' (Beltline/Beltline Adjacent/DT), we're looking at 8 highrises breaking ground in the last 6 months. Quite the run.

Was there a few minutes ago. Looks like they're just using it as a storage area still? No signs of construction from what I see. There isn't even a drill on the rig.
The DP isn't fully approved yet, at least according to the DMAP. It's still in the "In Advertising" phase where an appeal can be submitted.

I thought it was a storage area for their nearby projects too when I only saw piles, but now they have a a pile driver plus other drilling equipment. They could have dropped the driller directly off at their 1st project instead if it was meant to be for that one.
Was at the nearby food hall today, they looked to be servicing/fuelling the drill and had a ram and other equipment now on site too. About the appeal phase - looks like that ended in August.

I think that's the public comment period, which is before the city approves the permit. The city has now approved the permit, and it is on the public notices webpage (search for DP2024-04809) for 21 days.
Appeals can be filed during that 21 day period. See https://www.calgary.ca/development/permits/dmap-process.html
Looks like there are 10 days to do.
