Not sure what the actual measurements are but assume there's some setback requirements? But yea not the most pleasant especially if there are any smaller units where that's their only window.Sucks for all those people in that other building with the north facing windows who are about to stare right at what I assume will be a blank wall
Yes they did, in demo of the smaller apartment.Did they damage the cladding on the other building?
Yeah they did some damage to it during the demolition, I think they dropped part of the existing wall into the side of the building. Seemed like work stopped after for a few days while they were figuring out what to do. They have been motoring on it this week though, most of the digging was done on Saturday.Did they damage the cladding on the other building? That one has been done for a couple years, so surprised to see work happening.
There is a small setback on the side of the existing building, can't have windows on a zero lot line. Their view will be reduced, but the will still get some natural light, so not a total loss. lol
