Update for this one!


A revised DP has been applied for with some changes to the overall elevation and especially to the roof. Also several floors added, height is now 35 floors. They still have a partial BP for foundation and parkade construction I believe so this should not substantially delay construction.

Looks more like a human warehouse now. The spandrel will be awful and from the street no one will see the narrower crown so it will essentially just look like a box. Anything ornamental has been hacked off.

I'm in the minority it seems, but I actually prefer the new design. Although, neither version is either particularly exciting or offensive IMO...

Hopefully we can all at least agree it's better than Copenhagen.

Not offensive, which to me is a major win relative to a lot of the proposals we are seeing these days. With all the major price escaltions lately, budgets for towers are very tight. This also covers up part of those awful office conversions to the north.

Bottom is flattening out. We should be seeing a crane soon.
