Heritage Station Towers | 85m | 28s | Westcorp | GEC

The game changer for the area would be the land between Horton and Macleod. It's interesting that the land use was better around here 28 years ago than it is today.

From 1995, waterslides and a few other buildings. The Y would've been still up and running across Haddon Road too.

And the slides are gone by 2001.

Is the entire front courtyard a fucking Parkade ramp? This is a confusing site plan

Also, it looks like there won't be a parkade underneath these and residents would instead use the existing parkade. I guess they built enough space in the original?
For some reason I hadn't pieced this together until now
It wouldn't surprise me, the original parkade was massive from what I remember.

I worked on the parkade in 2014, it was my first construction job ever. They made the parkade large enough to house vehicles for two future towers. I'm surprised this thing has taken this long to restart, but then again it seems as if phased developments in Calgary take decades to build out, unlike Canada's other 3 big cities.
