Great little hotel infill on what might be the bleakest looking public realms in the city. I love the canyon effect and relative location is super central, but wow is this a hostile place to walk around for future hotel guests.

All that road capacity for 10 hours of peak traffic a week, most of the time it is actually just as empty as this photo makes it look.

I preferred this building when it had the yellow. Looked like it was made from yellow Lego blocks.

I'm worried about the impact of tariffs, or even the threat of tariffs and the economic uncertainty that creates, on the financial viability of starting or completing builds.
I'm concerned about that too, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed the lack of new proposals in the last month or so since Trump has ramped up his tariff rhetoric. I would imagine developers are taking a "wait and see" attitude with regard to both the overall economy and material costs, and banks might be more conservative with financing new development until they get a better sense of how this will all play out.

I hope common sense ultimately prevails, but right now I'm not optimistic with the state of things in Washington.
